Scottish Fiction Records are proud to bring you the brand new singles from two of Scotland's best up-and-coming artists; Mt. Doubt and Foreignfox.
Released as a double A side split 7" black vinyl, complete with digital b-sides and EXCLUSIVE remixes, housed in stunning artwork, both singles are precursors to both acts forthcoming EP's.
Hailed as a distinctive new voice in Scottish music by BBC Radio Scotland's Roddy Hart, with last year's album 'In Awe of Nothing' appearing on several end of year 'best albums' lists, Edinburgh band Mt. Doubt are hitting 2017 fresh with new material. Single 'Tourists' comes from the bands forthcoming EP, and cements the band's dark-pop sound and Leo Bargery's writing craft.
Over the past few year's Foreignfox have built up their reputation as one of Scotland's most promising acts, acknowledged this year with a nod from Vic Galloway as 'One to Watch' in 2017. 'Lights Off, Carry Me Home' is a warm and ambitious single from the band, building on their penchant for loud melodic anthems. The track is taken from the forthcoming new EP, which will be out later this year.
To celebrate the release the bands co-headline two launch gigs on Friday 7th April at Beat Generator in Dundee, and Saturday 8th April at Nice 'N' Sleazy's in Glasgow.
Purchase of this bundle entitles you to discounted entry at one of the launch gigs (select your choice from the option below) and a copy of the 7" vinyl available for you to collect at the gig.
Please note both gigs are non-ticketed and your name will be held at the door for entry. Please retain your email receipt as proof of purchase. Your 7" vinyl will be available to collect at the gig, and digital downloads of all the tracks will be emailed to you on the day of the release; 31st March 2017.
